Animals Through the Eyes of 30 Artists: Art as a Human Activity and the Contribution of Animals to Artistic Expression.
Exploring the present and past treatment of animals by humans - as artists and companions. Imaginary beings as representations of animals in artistic creation and productive animals, serving as objects of human interaction (food, entertainment), shaping the visual vocabulary of artists and contributing to the creation of an artistic manifesto that places animals on the pedestal of human creation.
This thematic exhibition is supported by the non-profit organization A PROMISE TO ANIMALS, which, under its auspices, brings a fresh perspective to the human treatment of animals. It embodies a declaration specifically addressing the ways in which animals are treated and consumed, delivering a powerful message.
