Research has shown that there is an increasing number of people embracing the vegan lifestyle. In fact, a survey conducted by YouGov in 2018, for ThoughtWorks, predicts that one in five of us will have stopped eating meat by 2030.
Additional studies predict the environmental benefits of a single person’s transition to a plant – based diet. The University of Oxford, for example, has found that by excluding meat and dairy from one’s diet, they could reduce their carbon footprint by up to 73%.
But what does adopting a vegan lifestyle really mean?
Adopting a vegan lifestyle has several benefits for animals, human health and the environment.
